Jhene Aiko
Jhene Aiko is a singer that has been on the scene for a minute in different realms, within the ruins of B2K and the entire Chris Stokes movement in which she emerged. She couldn’t move from that hole and it took a minute for her to make “new” moves in order to resurface again. Those moves included a mixtape, “Sailing Soul(s)” and “Sail Out”, quest spots on Cocaine 80s, Eric Bellinger, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul as well as J.Coles recent release. These collective have given her the push that she needs to make a name for herself in the industry. There is no denying her vocal ability and that they are “real”, but when I heard “Comfort Inn Ending” which is a track that is floating around (which I pray is on the album, “Souled Out” that she’s releasing soon…) I was screaming because you could feel it through your soul. Check out Jhene and that track by clicking on pic below...

Sway of Sway In The Morning on Sirius XM Shade 45
Music is a big part of my LIFE and SOUL, and when it comes to hip hop in which I existed when it was birthed. I am all about the skill at which it means to be a MC, as well as the skill it takes to come up with a track as a PRODUCER. Hit-Boy is a newbie on the scene, but is the truth when it comes to production and he shows you that on an ep of Sway In The Morning in which he premieres 3 new beats. The ep also features Octane & Price, whom had a hit a while back “Teach Me How To Jerk”. They are now rebranding themselves and showcased their freestyle skills on the show, and let me say this… THEY ARE NOOOOO JOOOOKKKKKE! The skill is REAL! Check it out by clicking on pic below....
