Freedom Friday

Numero Uno!

Just this morning as I was getting dressed for work, I came upon this totally neat idea out of San Francisco, CA.  The company name is Lyft and it’s an on-demand ride sharing service founded by Zimride Co-founders Logan Green and John Zimmer in June 2012.  Oh no, these are not the only services, you can also call Uber or Sidecar as well.

This is a great idea and can for sure reduce our carbon footprint on this wonderful place we call earth.  It’s no different than you calling a friend who has a car, but the “friend” just happens to be background checked to the moon and back.  So you know you are sitting in a car with someone that doesn’t have a criminal past.  Some friends of yours may have one, and you don’t even know.

The fun thing about this service is to recognize a Lyft car, is to only notice the one with a pink mustache on the grill.  Now how funny is that?

Check out their site and see if you happen to live in an area where Lyft is available, click here >>
