This weekend was my alma mater’s Homecoming - West Virginia State University’s and I so enjoyed myself which I do every year when it’s good weather. I get to see classmates as well as friends who come in town and never attended, but come because they know they’ll see a lot of people they know.
I have attended WVSU Homecomings since I was a kid actually, because just about everyone in my family attended the HBCU (Historical Black College/University). So it’s old hat to me, but FUN to see those individuals you hold dear.
